Easy steps to create your Web Ad (trust us, it will be harder to choose which great layout you want than it is to actually create this fun design which is perfect for emailing or posting to social)!
Log into your Max Center
Once in the dashboard, go to the RE/MAX Design Center!
From the home page of the Designs, choose the Web Ad Category.
In here you will see 8 designs, 2 pages worth of designs to choose from, we mentioned this was going to be the hard part, you can easily preview each design to see which one will be perfect for your project. Some tips to help you, photo count and verbiage you are looking to add. Select the Design.
Enter a Project Name, Description and Folder. (Tip: I typically keep all projects for a property in a file named with that property address).
Enter photos and text (don’t forget you can preview where the text will be going over on the left side by clicking View Layout). It will show you how many characters you have remaining for this box. (TIP: The small ink icon to the far left will give you example text to choose from).
Make sure your information is correct and up to date. This is pulling straight from your profile in Design Center which we hope you have set up. If not, make sure you go to the upper right hand corner and set this up (after this project)! 🙂 Save & Continue!

Following the hottest summer selling season in years, October home sales cooled down 7.7% below sales in September, and 0.8% lower than October 2014. October and January were the only two months of the year that saw lower home sales than the same month last year.

When preparing your home to show potential buyers, be sure you’re not leaving yourself vulnerable to identity theft. Although most people who come through your home have honest intentions, it’s still important to take precautions against those rare few who don’t. Here are some tips to keep your identity safe:
1. Don’t invite thieves
Remove those invitations and school calendars stuck to the front of your fridge. They broadcast times when you may not be home.
2. Lock your docs
Were you reviewing your bank statement just before a showing? Don’t forget to secure official documents such as passports, checkbooks and statements in a locked drawer or cabinet before leaving.
3. Screen your visitors
Be sure to add password protection to computers, laptops and tablets. It’s best to log out of your devices and unplug your computer.
4. Send your mail elsewhere
Remember – your junk mail can be a treasure to someone trolling for keys to your identity. After all, those annoying credit card offers contain all the information a thief needs to activate a fraudulent account. After sorting your mail, promptly shred anything you no longer need.
5. Be careful with catalogues
Periodicals contain more information than you might want a potential visitor to know. Make a habit of tearing off address stickers, and hide any publications that identify your affiliation with a certain organization.
6. Take your medicine – somewhere else
Prescription bottles have all kinds of information you don’t want to share with strangers, including your insurance policy number and doctor’s name. Hide your prescriptions very well, or even better, lock them up during showings to ensure no one takes your pills or your info.

SEATTLE — Zillow Group, (NASDAQ: Z and ZG), which houses a portfolio of the largest and most vibrant real estate and home-related brands on mobile and web, today announced it has renewed its agreement with RE/MAX®, one of the nation’s largest real estate franchisors.
The newly expanded agreement features a first-of-its-kind integration of two of the Zillow® Tech Connect programs, Leads and Reviews. Now, RE/MAX agents will be able to receive Zillow Group leads through their customer relationship management program, LeadStreet®, and will be able to feature their reviews from Zillow on their personal agent websites. In addition, agents will have extended RE/MAX branding with attribution on all listings across Zillow and Trulia® and agents will be clearly labeled as the listing agents on the buyers’ agent list on their listings. Zillow Group will also offer specially designed training and education regarding these new resources to RE/MAX agents.
“This is truly a landmark agreement,” said Errol Samuelson, Zillow Group chief industry development officer. “We are focused on delivering greater value to RE/MAX and its brokerages and agents who use the services of Zillow Group. This agreement will help RE/MAX agents work more effectively and receive even more value from Zillow and Trulia.”
All 59,000 RE/MAX agents in the U.S. will have the opportunity for their listings to appear on Zillow and Trulia, as well as on Zillow’s and Trulia’s popular suite of mobile apps. Listings will also appear across Zillow Group’s extended network, which includes Yahoo!® Homes, MSN® Real Estate, AOL® Real Estate, HGTV® and Leju. In addition, the new agreement allows RE/MAX listings to feature unique brokerage branding, including a logo and link back to the brokerage website.

Zillow Group and RE/MAX Kick off New Phase of Collaboration

In real estate there are so many moving parts spinning in motion behind the scenes. You could have the buyer’s agent, seller’s agent, buyer, seller, tenant, landlord, title agent, lender, insurance provider, home warranty rep, home inspector, contractors, attorneys, surveyors, appraisers, family relatives etc. and the list goes on. Any one of these players can stir the pot on a moments notice and send blood pressure readings through the roof.
When this happens we all have a choice to make. We can meet them at their level OR choose to rise above and redirect our energy towards a peaceful resolution. In every case that I’ve intervened with over the years, the answer was not far away once we removed all obstacles from the equation. Finding common ground is easier to do with a level head versus one that resembles a rupturing volcano.
